Nemo and the Chaos of a Multi-Pet Home

Nemo is a ten-year-old Munchkin with short legs and very long opinions. She shares our Sukhumvit condo with three other cats and a tortoise. Mealtimes are the worst. Each cat wants its own bowl, and Nemo, who can't jump onto the counter, has learned to yell until someone hands her food. Litter is another challenge, so we set up a second box in every room and labelled the feeding stations with tape.

My practical tips: feed everyone in separate spaces, keep a timer for medicine, and never assume the quietest animal is happy. Nemo sometimes naps in the laundry basket while the others fight over the couch. We're not perfect, but the house runs smoothly most days, and she still greets me at the door like I'm the most exciting thing she has seen all week.
