Wagdee by Chaba

Wagdee helps pet owners find pet-friendly places, events and a friendly community across Thailand. It is part of CHABA Group, the pet-friendly “Hotel of Kindness”.

Our story

Khun Pat (คุณแพท) is the founder and owner of Chaba Inn Srinakarin in Bangkok. What started as a mission to look after the stray dogs and cats around the hotel grew into CHABA Group, a chain of pet-friendly hotels, and won the hearts of pet lovers on TikTok and Facebook.

Guests at every CHABA hotel can bring their pets free of charge when booking directly with the hotel, and each pet is welcomed with its own pack of pads, bowls and treats. Clips of the hotels' resident strays have won the brand fans all over Thailand — and beyond.

What does “Wagdee” mean?

The name joins two happy things: the wag of a dog's tail and “dee” (ดี), the Thai word for “good”. A wagging tail that means all is well — that is the feeling every outing with your pet should end with.

Wagdee was created because finding truly pet-friendly places in Thailand was hard: the information is scattered, unclear or out of date, and too many trips end with a pet waiting outside. We research every place's pet policy — indoors or outdoors, fees, size limits — so you know before you go.

Kindness is a house rule

  • No staff member may ever chase away a stray dog or cat.
  • Every department feeds the strays and changes their water every day.
  • Part of every booking pays for food, medicine and care for the strays around the hotels.

Pets stay free

At CHABA hotels, pets stay free of charge when you book directly with the hotel, with no limit on their number, weight or breed.
