Udon at the Pet Fair: A Practical Day Out

SISakura Ito17 October 2026·1 min read

Udon is a two-and-a-half-year-old mixed breed who thinks every stall at a pet fair is an invitation. We went to the weekend pet fair in Udon Thani, which was lively, loud and full of puppies. My honest take: it was fun, but a lot for a dog like her.

Practical tips: go early before the crowds, bring water and a towel, and keep her on a short lead near the food stalls. Some sellers were very friendly, though I would check any animal carefully before buying. Udon got overexcited and needed a break in the car after an hour.

Next time we'll stay for just one hour and bring her favourite toy for calm moments.

Udon looks like she'd rather be at home with a snack, honestly.
