Taro was missing for three hours

Taro slipped out through an open balcony door on a Sunday afternoon and was gone for three hours. Khao Manee cats are quick and very quiet, so at first we searched in all the wrong places.

What worked: I printed a photo with my number, asked the security guard to check the stairwells, and posted in the local lost-cat group. A neighbor on the next soi had found her in a laundry room. Keep a recent photo, check that your cat's microchip details are current, and search the building before the street.
