Kopi's First Vet Visit at Almost Six

Kopi is a Pomeranian who is nearly six years old, and somehow he had never seen a vet before I adopted him, which says a lot about his past. Vaccination day arrived, and he was not impressed. He puffed up like a dandelion the moment we walked through the clinic door, and he growled at a cartoon poster of a cat. The vet, a patient woman with the calmest voice, gave him a treat and some time. Then he let her listen to his heart as if he were a tiny nobleman. Vaccines done, we walked home past the mango stall, and he sulked for exactly one block before forgetting all about it.
