Taking Poppy to Meet Other Cats in the Park

Poppy is a Ragdoll, which means she is basically a floppy cushion with opinions. Every Saturday I take her in a harness to the small park near Thonglor BTS, where a few cat owners meet under a shady tree. Tip one: go early, before the sun gets strong and the benches fill up.

Tip two: keep the carrier open and let her decide. Poppy spent the first visit hiding inside it, and that was fine. By the third visit she was sitting on a bench, chatting with a tabby named Mochi as if they had known each other for years.
