Songkran With Tiger: Wet, Loud and Totally Worth It
Songkran this year was the most chaotic day Tiger has ever had. Our Shih Tzu is five now, and he usually runs away from anything that makes a loud noise. This time he surprised us all.
We kept him in his carrier in the back seat with the windows up while we drove to the street party near our place in Lat Phrao. Water guns were everywhere, and I was so nervous someone would spray him right in the face.
Instead, the kids on the sidewalk started cheering when they saw his fluffy head poking out. He loved the attention, wagging so hard that his little bandana slipped sideways. We stayed for about an hour, then headed home before the crowds got too thick.
I dried him with two towels and gave him a slow, cool rinse, which he definitely enjoyed more than the mess outside. Next year I am making him a proper little raincoat. Happy New Year, everyone!

A carrier with a soft blanket inside made a big difference for us during the water fights too.

The photo of Tiger in his carrier with the windows up is hilarious, I can only imagine the noise outside. Glad he came out of it in one piece.

Thanks for sharing this, Tiger is a brave little guy for handling Songkran that well.
