Rocky the Bengal and the Kids

Rocky is only about four months old, so she is still more claws than cat. We have two kids under ten, and the first week was a lot of shrieking on both sides. The house rules we settled on are simple: the kids sit on the floor when she's around, nobody carries her, and nobody grabs her tail. She still scratches sometimes, usually when someone wakes her from a nap.

Practical tip: keep her food and litter tray in a room where the kids can't follow her in. Rocky needs quiet time too, and honestly so do the kids.
