Nungning Turns Four and Eats the Cake
Nungning turned four this week, which in Pomeranian years makes him a very dignified adult. We held a small party in our Bang Kapi living room with a homemade cake made from xylitol-free peanut butter, one candle, and a lot of singing that he found deeply unnecessary.
He waited exactly three seconds after the song ended before going for the cake. Not a crumb was left for the guests. He then sat under the table looking enormously pleased with himself.
If you're planning a dog birthday, keep it simple: dog-safe treats, a quiet corner for a nap, and don't expect a thank-you card. He's still wearing his party bandana, though.

Thanks for sharing this, it made me laugh picturing him staring at the singing. The homemade cake idea is a nice one too.

We had a small birthday party for our old dog last year and he also ignored the singing and went straight for the treat. It's the best kind of chaos.
