Miso's First Pet-Friendly Hotel Weekend in Bangkok

Okay, I have to share this because Miso was the star of our weekend! We booked a pet-friendly hotel near Thonglor, and she walked in like she owned the place. The front desk brought a small water bowl and a fluffy bed without us even asking, and the staff smiled at her the whole time. Miso is a three-year-old Domestic Shorthair with the loudest purr in Bangkok, and she purred the whole elevator ride up.

The room had a little window seat that looked out over the BTS tracks. Miso spent almost two hours watching the trains go by like it was TV. We brought her carrier, a couple of toys and her favourite treats, but honestly the hotel had everything else covered. We kept her on a short leash in the hallway, since the carpets and new smells made her a bit nervous at first.

Breakfast was fun too. Some guests brought their dogs to the courtyard and Miso kept her distance, which was fine with me. By checkout she was napping on the bed, and I think she'd vote for another weekend. Highly recommend booking if you travel with a cat!
