Khao Niao Enters Her First Photo Contest

I never thought I would enter a pet photo contest, but my friend from the Ratchada cat group dared me. So I sent in a picture of Khao Niao on the windowsill, with the afternoon light coming through her long white fur.

She is a Persian, so the fur takes forever to brush, and she hates being photographed unless there is a treat involved. I took about two hundred pictures. Most show only her grumpy face and a blur of tail. The one I submitted shows her staring at the street like she is waiting for someone important.

Results come out next month. Win or lose, she will be the same queen on my sofa.
