Songkran on our Ratchada soi is basically a water war, and my betta Ginger was definitely not invited. She lives in a small bowl on the kitchen shelf, so I moved her to the bedroom for three days and kept the windows shut.
Next year I will keep her bowl away from the balcony and only use water that has been left to sit overnight. Ginger, meanwhile, just flared at her own reflection and went back to sleep.

Ginger sounds like she had a very dramatic Songkran. Moving her to the bedroom was a smart call, and I appreciated the detail about keeping the windows shut. Looking forward to hearing how she does next year.
