How Kitty the Pomeranian Adopted Our Whole Nimman Soi
Kitty belongs to the family who run the shophouse across the road from us, but for a whole year she has behaved like she lives on our street. Every morning, around seven, she trots out of her gate, crosses the soi with great dignity and sits down at our doorstep. She has been known to walk into the coffee shop on the corner and sit under a table until someone gives her a piece of toast.
The neighbours have started saving bits of chicken for her. Even the motorbike taxi drivers wait for her to cross before they pull away. Kitty takes all of this as her due.
I think she simply enjoys having more people to love her. She is small, but she has a very big circle of friends in Nimman now.
