Bonnie's Grooming Day Was Not Pretty at First
Bonnie is a seven-year-old poodle, and her coat needs professional clipping about every six weeks, which I have learned the hard way. Last month I booked a groomer near my Pattaya condo, dropped her off at nine, and got a call at noon asking me to come and pick her up early. Apparently she had decided the sink was her enemy and hidden under a towel rack. The groomer was kind about it, but she explained that a clip takes much longer when the dog is wiggling.
My practical tips: bring her favourite treats, tell the groomer about any sensitive spots, and don't panic if she looks sad at the door. Bonnie came home looking like a show dog, with a neat topknot and fluffy ears. Her only complaint was that I wouldn't let her roll on the carpet for the first hour. Honest answer: I'll book the same groomer again.

We are going to ask our groomer about a shorter schedule for our own dog after reading this. Thanks for being honest about how it went, it helps a lot.
