About

Ingmhok Resort is a nature-oriented getaway in a rustic, tropical mountain style. It has standalone cottages, chalets and camping grounds spread across hilly terrain among trees and greenery.

Units carry nature-themed names, such as Baan Ingmhok, Baan La-ong Mhok, Baan Mhok Fah and Camp Chom Mhok. Each private cottage has air conditioning, a private balcony or terrace with views of the mist and hills, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a television and a refrigerator.

The atmosphere is quiet, simple and breezy. The resort is especially popular in the cooler winter months, when morning fog blankets the valley.

Surroundings

A peaceful green valley bordered by the Tenasserim mountain range, with local fruit orchards, streams and countryside cafés.

Famous landmarks nearby:

  • Kao Jone Waterfall (about 1–4 km).
  • Bo Khlueng Hot Spring: a short drive away.
  • Somdet Phranangchao Sirikit Park (about 4 km).
  • New Land Suan Phueng (about 4 km).
  • Khao Krajom (about 8 km): a popular 4x4 mountain viewpoint for watching sunrises and seas of mist.

Getting there

The resort is at Moo 7, Tambon Suan Phueng, Ratchaburi, with free private parking on site.

By car from Bangkok, about 160 to 180 km or 2.5 to 3 hours, take Highway 4 (Phetkasem Road) or Highway 35 (Rama 2 Road) westbound towards Ratchaburi City. Bypass Ratchaburi town, or head via Chom Bueng onto Highway 3087 towards Amphoe Suan Phueng. Follow Highway 3087 deep into Tambon Suan Phueng towards the Bo Khlueng Hot Spring and the Kao Jone Waterfall corridor.

By public transport, take a minivan from Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal or Mochit 2 to Ratchaburi town or Chom Bueng. From there, hire a local songthaew or private taxi to Suan Phueng. A private or rental car is strongly recommended, as rural transit is limited.
