Yaya's Horse Riding

Yaya's Horse Riding is a private riding school and stable that uses mixed riding horses and ponies. It is geared to leisure riders rather than competition, and competitive disciplines such as show jumping, dressage or polo are not advertised.

Private lessons cover basic seat, control and horsemanship, including walking and grooming the horses. Each session is about 30 minutes in the saddle and 15 minutes of walking and handling. Trail rides go around the farm and the surrounding countryside, and short lead-line walks, with staff leading the horse, are offered for photos or first meetings with a horse.

The riding area is an outdoor paddock surrounded by greenery, with no indoor arena. Sessions run in set time slots, with a midday break for the horses. Advance booking is needed, and the school suits beginners, children and adult leisure riders.

The school is in Ton Thong Chai subdistrict, Mueang Lampang district, just north of Lampang city.

It is roughly 7 to 9 km north of Lampang town centre and of Lampang Airport (LPT), usually a 10 to 15 minute drive.
