Dogs and cats are welcome in designated pet-friendly rooms; exotic pets are not allowed. Up to 2 pets per room are accepted, with a maximum weight of 10 kg per pet.

The pet fee is THB 1,500 per pet per night, and can be up to THB 2,000 depending on booking terms. A refundable deposit of THB 5,000 per stay is taken at check-in. Service animals are generally exempt from the pet fee and weight limit.

Pet-friendly rooms are limited to specific room categories, so tell the hotel in advance or request a pet-friendly room when you book. Food and water bowls are provided in the room.

VARANA Hotel Krabi is a five-star wellness and eco-resort designed around a wellcation concept, with a Bio-Circular-Green model, sustainable architecture and greywater recycling. Surroundings

The resort sits near the foothills of Khao Ngon Nak on the quiet coastal road of Nong Thale. It is a calmer alternative to Krabi's busier party strips.

  • Klong Muang Beach (about 700 m to 1.2 km): a beach for walks.
  • Tubkaek Beach and Khao Ngon Nak (about 3.7–4.3 km): the Dragon Crest Mountain trailhead.
  • Ao Nang Beach (about 13–15 km): a beach with a night market, around 15–20 minutes by car.

Getting there

The address is 258 Moo 3, Tambon Nong Thale, Amphoe Mueang Krabi, Krabi 81180. Krabi International Airport (KBV) is about 30–35 km away, roughly 40–50 minutes by car.

From the airport, take a rental car, a private airport transfer or a local taxi west towards Klong Muang and Nong Thale. The hotel offers paid airport pick-up and drop-off if you book in advance. Free self-parking is available on site, including uncovered spaces and wheelchair-accessible spots.
