The fee is 350 THB per pet per night for pets up to 8 kg and 450 THB per pet per night for heavier pets.

Guests bringing more than one pet must tell the front desk in advance.

Pets can walk on a leash on the lawns, in the garden grounds and along the riverside walkways. They are not permitted in the swimming pool.

Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.

About

Le Bassin Erawan Resort is an intimate three-star retreat designed around its natural setting, blending eastern and western rustic architecture with industrial loft accents.

It has around 6 to 20 styled units: floating raft rooms right above the water, riverside twin houses, lawn-facing single-storey cottages and large multi-bedroom family houses.

Facilities include an on-site café, an open restaurant serving Thai dishes, a garden, barbecue and fireplace areas and leisure equipment. Guests can go kayaking, paddleboarding and fishing, and join relaxed weekend floating-raft cruises.

Surroundings

The resort is on a quiet rural riverfront, surrounded by tree-covered limestone hills, farmland and river greenery.

Famous landmarks nearby:

  • Erawan National Park and Waterfall (about 15 to 20 km), roughly 20 to 30 minutes by car.
  • Taweechai Elephant Camp (about 11.6 km).
  • Srinagarind Dam (about 20 to 25 km north).
  • ElephantsWorld Kanchanaburi (about 24 km).
  • Safari Park Open Zoo (about 32 km).

Getting there

The resort is at Tha Kradan, Si Sawat District, Kanchanaburi 71250. By car from Bangkok, take Highway 4 (Phetkasem) or Highway 338 westbound towards Nakhon Pathom, then join Highway 323 into Kanchanaburi city.

From Kanchanaburi town, take Highway 3199 north towards Lat Ya, Erawan and Si Sawat. Drive about 50 km towards Tha Kradan sub-district, then follow the local access road to the riverbank across from the Chong Sadao nature station area. The last 100 m to the resort entrance is a narrow nature lane.

By public transport, take a bus or minivan from Bangkok (Mo Chit or Southern Bus Terminal) to Kanchanaburi Central Bus Station. From there, take a local bus or songthaew towards Erawan or Si Sawat, get off near the Tha Kradan turnoff, then take a local ride or a pre-arranged transfer to the resort.

Free on-site parking is available for guests.
