Dutch Farm
Dutch Farm is a family farm attraction in San Kamphaeng, Chiang Mai, with a windmill, flower gardens and miniature Shetland ponies to feed and groom, plus short gentle pony rides for small children.
About
Dutch Farm is a family-oriented agritourism farm and animal attraction styled as a European countryside experience. Its signature animals are miniature Shetland ponies, and the farm also has sheep, rabbits, geese, ducks, chickens and water buffaloes. It is not a sports equestrian centre.
Visitors, especially young children, can feed and groom the ponies and take part in guided pony-leading therapy sessions for children. They can also feed the sheep and bottle-feed baby lambs. Sheep shearing activities and school field trips are offered.
Pony rides are short and gentle, for toddlers and small children. There are no adult trail rides, beach rides or formal riding lessons, and no horse boarding, sales or veterinary services.
The grounds have open green pastures and lawns with mountain views, paved and grass paths for walking, and a giant Dutch windmill. An on-site coffee shop and restaurant and the associated Oon Valley Farm Stay make it suited to a family day out.
