A hands-on morning with a practising vet covering heatstroke, choking, toxic foods, and what to include in your pet's first-aid kit.
A friendly vet will guide us through common emergencies faced by pet owners in Thailand, including heatstroke, choking, cuts and paw pad injuries, toxic foods, and snake bites. We'll also discuss when to seek immediate veterinary care at a 24-hour hospital and when an issue can wait until morning.
You'll have the opportunity to practice checking your own dog's pulse and breathing. Dogs are welcome but participation is optional. We will also assemble a simple first-aid kit to take home.
The fee includes a drink and the first-aid kit. Please note this is a workshop and not a substitute for professional veterinary care.
