My Checklist for Flying Home With Lychee
Lychee and I just flew back from Osaka, and I want to write everything down before I forget. Next time I will be the one with the crazy checklist, so here it is.
First, check the airline's policy on cats in the cabin and the weight limit, because Lychee is a bit more than the minimum. Second, get the health certificate from the vet near my condo well before the trip, and keep the paper with the passports. Third, buy a hard carrier that fits under the seat, and put in a soft blanket that smells like home. Fourth, go easy on the food that morning.
Lychee had no idea what was happening, mostly she complained at the security line. Her short Munchkin legs needed help on the boarding ramp, but she is a champion now, and I am the one who needs a nap.
