Kuma and the Dog Park Regulars 🐾
Kuma is a three-year-old Shih Tzu who thinks every dog at the park is his best friend, even the ones who would rather be left alone. We go to the small dog park off Ari Soi 1 most mornings before it gets too hot, and I have learned a few things the hard way.
First, check the gate. Twice now Kuma has slipped through behind someone else's Golden and ended up chasing a pigeon near the road. Second, bring water and a bowl, because the concrete gets warm fast even at eight in the morning. Third, don't assume the other owner knows their dog. Ask before you let your dogs mix, especially with puppies or nervous rescues.
Kuma mostly just wants to sniff everything and be loved. Most days he gets both, and honestly that is enough for me.

ช่วงนี้อากาศร้อนมาก เดี๋ยวจะลองพาน้องไปสวนหมาตอนเช้าตามที่คุณทำดูค่ะ คิดว่าน้องคงชอบแน่ๆ

What time do you usually head out for the morning walk?

Keep a collapsible bowl of water in the car for the walks, it saves a lot of hassle with the other dogs. A quiet corner after play time also helps a busy Shih Tzu settle down.

Early walks are the way to go, the pavement is cooler and everyone's calmer.

Kuma sounds like a character, and I can picture him trying to befriend every dog in the park. Hazel would probably get along with him, she's pretty social too.
