How I Found a Pet Sitter for Kopi Before Our Trip
When my husband and I planned a trip to Krabi last month, the hardest part was finding someone to look after Kopi, our six-year-old Shih Tzu. She's sweet but needs a routine: morning walk, two meals, and evening brushing. Leaving her with a stranger was not going to happen without some checks.
Here's what helped. First, I asked three people from our neighborhood group in Hat Yai for recommendations and met each one in person. Second, I wrote her routine, medicine schedule, and the vet's phone number on a single page. Third, I did a trial day, where the sitter came over for two hours while I stayed home. Kopi wagged at her within minutes.
Book your sitter at least two weeks early, especially in high season. Ask for photos or video updates each day. We paid a fair daily rate and left a small tip. Kopi came home happy, with no new habits we didn't like.

How did you find a sitter you trusted for Kopi, through an app, a friend, or a shop? And did she manage the morning walk and the brushing routine too?
