Finding a pet sitter for Pepsi before my trip

I'm 22 and I work at a design studio near Thonglor, so when my company sent me to a conference in Chiang Mai for four days, I had to find someone for Pepsi, my miniature Schnauzer. He is just over a year old and hates being left alone.

I tried a big pet hotel first, but they wanted him in a cage for most of the day and he came back stressed and wouldn't eat. A friend then pointed me to a sitter who visits homes in the Sukhumvit area. She came twice a day for half an hour, walked him around Soi 55 and sent me photos each time.

My tips: meet the sitter before you leave, write down feeding amounts and walk routes, and leave the vet's number somewhere obvious. Pepsi was a bit clingy when I got back, but he ate well and was ready to go out again the next morning.
