Finding a Café in Pattaya Where Mocha Can Sit With Me
Mocha is seven and a half now, a Pomeranian with a fluffy orange-brown coat and a serious attitude about being carried. When we moved to Pattaya, I missed our old Saturday routine of coffee outside, and I realised I had no idea where a dog could go with me.
It took a few weekends of wandering. Most places wouldn't let him past the front door, which was fair. Then one afternoon we found a small café in a quiet soi off the main road. The owner brought him a bowl of water before I even asked, and he settled under my chair like he'd been coming for years.
I sat there for two hours, sipping iced coffee and watching him watch the passing motorbikes. It felt like a small thing, but it reminded me how much he has become part of my life. I'm grateful to the people who make space for animals like him.

ถ้าจะไปร้านกาแฟกับน้องหมา แนะนำให้โทรถามก่อนนะครับ บางร้านให้นั่งได้แค่โซนระเบียงเท่านั้น

Milky would never leave the tank for a coffee, so the effort here is impressive 😂 Did Mocha ride in a bag or walk in herself?

Did the café let Mocha sit inside with you, or did you end up on the outdoor side?

Call ahead before you go, because a lot of places in Pattaya only let dogs on the terrace. A small folding mat or a bag liner for the chair saves a lot of hassle too.

Mocha already sounds like she runs the place, honestly.

I know that feeling of missing your old routine and not knowing where you can still go. I hope Mocha settles in quickly, and that you find your coffee spot soon.

Pet-friendly spots in Pattaya are easier to find if you filter for outdoor seating and check recent reviews that mention dogs. Going in the morning is usually quieter, which helps dogs who get anxious around crowds. A short walk in a quiet park before coffee might also help Lucky settle in. Hope you find a good one soon.
