Espresso Still Runs Like a Puppy

Espresso is my four-year-old poodle, and her vet says she is in the early part of middle age. Nobody told her. She still sprints to the end of the Sathorn park path every morning and comes back with her ears flying.

We have made a few changes for her comfort. The bed is orthopedic now, the food is a little softer, and I walk her at a slower pace on hot afternoons. She also gets a short swim in the pool on weekends, which she adores.

Honestly, I did not expect to feel so excited about getting older with a dog. Every checkup feels like a small celebration. Long live Espresso!
