Baby was three when we moved from our old house in Thonglor into a condo off Ekkamai, and I think he took it more personally than I did. He spent his first week on the windowsill of the twelfth floor, watching the traffic like it owed him an explanation. The juristic office wanted his vaccination card and a signed pet form, and the rules say cats must be carried in the corridors.
The lift taught me the most. In the mornings everyone is rushing for work, and nobody wants a cat carrier pressed against their shins. Now I wait for the next lift if the first one is busy. A small kindness in a crowded lift can make a whole week easier.
The hardest part was the quiet. Here he has a cat tree by the window and a lot of patience from me. Some evenings I still find him at the glass, and I think he is just waiting for the new place to feel like his.

Moving to a condo is a lot of adjustment, for pets and for us. Watching the traffic from the window is probably his way of coping, and it should ease off after a few weeks. Keep his routine as normal as you can. Hope the new place starts to feel like home for him.
