A Weekend in Hua Hin with Zeus

Zeus is a sugar glider, six years old, and he does not like the sun much. We packed a small carrier with a fleece blanket, a few bottles of water and his favourite fruit mix, then drove down to Hua Hin for two nights. He spent most of the time asleep in the pouch on my shirt, poking his head out whenever the sea breeze came through the balcony door.

We kept the room cool and the curtains shut during the day. In the evening we walked to the pier, and he watched the lights of the fishing boats like a tiny sailor. Next time I want to plan a bit more shade.
