A Weekend in Hua Hin with Ginger the Cat
Ginger is not a beach cat. She is a three-year-old mixed breed with orange stripes and opinions about everything, so I was surprised when she sat quietly in her carrier all the way from Jomtien to Hua Hin without a single complaint.
We rented a small house with a garden. The first thing she did was sniff the grass and sneeze. By the second morning she had claimed the shaded terrace and was watching the sea breeze move the curtains as if it were television.
We took short walks on the sand early, before the sun got strong. She refused to paddle, but she loved the cool tiles of the terrace after dinner.
On Sunday she yawned, climbed into her carrier by herself, and that was the end of our holiday. Cats are the best travellers, once they decide you are in charge.

It must have been a little stressful to watch Ginger handle a new place like Hua Hin, and I know that feeling well. Carriers are not always fun for cats, so it is nice she settled in during the trip. Small wins like that make a big difference for a traveling pet. I hope she enjoyed the sea breeze a bit too.

ถ้าพาแมวไปทะเลแบบนี้ ควรเตรียมน้ำดื่มกับผ้าเย็นไว้ในกระเป๋าด้วยนะครับ ที่บ้านผมก็ทำแบบนี้กับ Sunny แล้วได้ผลดีมาก
