A Saturday at the Pet Fair with a Very Opinionated Rabbit

Cappuccino is a three-year-old Holland Lop with floppy ears, a short temper, and a deep dislike of escalators. So when the pet fair in Sathorn announced a rabbit showcase, I thought she would hate every minute of it. I was half right.

The hall was loud, crowded and smelled of dog treats. She sat very still in her carrier, ears low, and watched a parade of Golden Retrievers go by like they owed her money. Then a little girl with a sticky ice cream asked if she could pet her, and Cappuccino, to everyone's surprise, leaned right into the hand.

We spent the afternoon buying hay from a stall run by an elderly couple, and I ended up with a toy carrot I did not need. On the way home on the BTS she slept the whole way, which I count as a win. 🐰
