Laika is a red-and-white Siberian husky, and yes, we know, Pattaya is not ideal for her. She lives in the air-conditioned living room, goes out only after sunset and treats ice cubes as a luxury snack. She talks back with long dramatic howls, especially when I leave for work. She dreams about snow and sleeps with her nose against the air-con vent.
