Canela

Canela, Spanish for cinnamon, is a tricolour Beagle with a very loud voice and a nose that works all day. In Ari she can smell the street food from three sois away and pulls me to every vendor. She sings when I leave, then sits by the door until I return. After a walk she sleeps heavily on my feet, like a hot-water bottle.
