A Samoyed in Phuket: How Belka Survives 35 Degrees
A snow-white dog in a tropical island is a daily puzzle. Six a.m. walks, a cooling mat and one very serious air-con rule.

Dog
Belka is a Samoyed, which means a snowy dog in a place that is 35 degrees all year. We walk at six in the morning and she sleeps under the air-con the rest of the day. She smiles at everybody on Bang Tao beach and the tourists ask for selfies. Her fur floats around the villa like snow, and she is the happiest dog I have ever met.
